Sr Electrician - Tech Blocks

Job Summary:

The Sr Electrician will perform maintenance and repairs on concrete product manufacturing plants.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Read and evaluate electrical schematics

  • Troubleshoot using multimeters, schematics and manuals.

  • Motivated to continuous improvement in the process to maintain optimum operation conditions and plant productivity

  • Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environment

  • Modifications and improvements to automation equipment

  • Review work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignments

  • Respond to emergency requests for immediate repairs

  • Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities

  • Performs preventative maintenance procedures following established program

  • Promotes teamwork in troubleshooting events

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements

  • ITI, Diploma of electrical/Electronic.

  • Must have working experience on Blocks machine like HESS, MASA or Zenith plants.

  • 5-7 years’ experience in concrete products manufacturing industry will preferred

  • Lenz, SEW, ABB, Siemens equipment related experience will be preferred.

  • Proven understanding of electronics, computer, and automation technologies
